Making Appointments

Reception is open from 8.00am to 7.00pm to make appointments. If you wish to see a particular vet please tell the receptionist when you ring. As far as possible we try to ensure that you will see the vet of your choice and that continuity of care is maintained throughout any course of treatment. If you would like us to visit your pet at home, we will be happy to oblige in appropriate cases. Of course emergencies always have to take priority so please tell the nursing staff on reception duty if you think the case is urgent. Surgery hours Our surgery hours are 8.00 to 10.30am and 4.30 to 7.00pm Monday to Friday On Saturdays we are available from 9.00 to 11.00am Please note that surgery times may vary occasionally because of staff training or for other reasons. Please try to keep to appointments because it helps to stop the reception area from becoming overcrowded, which upsets the animals, and it helps us to ensure that we have plenty of time to deal with your pet without keeping you or anyone else waiting any longer than necessary. Outside normal hours If you need a vet in an emergency, please call 01793-765335. You will be connected to our paging service or answered by the vet on call. Please note that higher fees apply to consultations outside normal surgery hours. Collecting drugs and veterinary products from the surgery Reception is open from 8.00am to 7.00pm to make appointments, for routine enquiries, collection of drugs, to order repeat prescriptions, and to buy products such as flea control preparations, vitamins, worm doses, shampoos, special diets and so on.
