Modern veterinary practice is a partnership between general practices like us and specialists who can provide expertise and equipment to deal with more complicated or unusual cases.
We’re always willing to seek a second opinion and to make arrangements for you to see a specialist when needed – and we will always recommend the specialists who we think will provide the very best care for your pet (we don't get any commission or fees for referring you to specialists - we only recommend seeing a specialist if it is in the best interests of your pet)
Sometimes this may involve travelling some distance – for example the only facilities for radiotherapy treatment for cancer are in East Anglia. On the other hand two of the main centres for medical cases for cats are close at hand at the Bristol University Veterinary School or the Oxford Cat Clinic.
